Reception
Welcome to Reception. We love this time of year as we welcome all the new children and their families into our school and find out about what make the children who they are.
This half term Reception’s main topic is settling in, getting to know each other and their families. Based upon this, our topic is called 'Fantastic Families'. Reception will be looking at themselves, their families, their school family, similarities and differences. We will be writing lists, visiting favourites places, having fun and beginning their learning journey.
In Maths our focus is upon numbers to 5, patterns and matching/pairs.
We will also take part in our wonderful Music lessons with Mr Cunningham and focus on our gross motor skills with our PE coach, Miss Jasmine.
